Canada at Risk: Building resilience in the age of the polycrisis

About our Documentary

CANADA AT RISK is an amateur documentary that explores how the most urgent challenges of our time are deeply intertwined, forming what experts call the "polycrisis." Climate change, social polarization, disinformation, economic instability, and technological disruption aren't isolated problems—they're connected threads in a complex web that affects all our lives.

Through powerful storytelling and diverse perspectives, we gathered insights from young people, community leaders, and everyday citizens about how these interconnected challenges are reshaping their lives, communities, and expectations for the future.

This documentary is more than just an explanation of problems—it's an invitation to discover our collective power. By understanding how these systems connect, we unveil pathways to meaningful action that move beyond overwhelm toward hope and agency.

Produced in collaboration with the Institute for Collaborative Innovation (ICI Canada), CANADA AT RISK aims to make the concept of the polycrisis accessible and actionable for everyone, not just policy experts and academics.
